After carving an indelible reputation in the Indian Alco-Bev space, she is here to create a new niche with NeuWorld Spirits.

From her 25+ years of experience as a marketer, she has amassed an excellent understanding of the industry and its customers. Knowing the risk of entering a highly volatile and competitive market, she came forward with a new direction to cater to the needs of the new consumer who seeks something extraordinary. She is highly motivated to raise the bar of the Indian Alco-Bev Industry and foster brands trusted and respected by all connoisseurs of fine taste. With her vision, NeuWorld Spirits will give the liquor industry an unconventional direction to create beautiful experiences.

Besides work, Poonam is a fitness freak. She starts her day with a ten kilometre jog followed by an hour and a half of strenuous yoga. She is an early riser and likes to start her day with her fitness regime followed by organising her daily meetings. She is a voracious reader and loves to read variety of books, her favourite authors being Yuval Noah Harare and William Darlymple. She also writes English and Hindi poetry and loves listening to old Hindi music.
